Aerandee & Rohan
This Sri Lankan-Telugu Wedding Was A Beautiful Blend Of Heritage, Heart & Home
When two cultures collide, the result is often a spectacular explosion of traditions, colors, and unforgettable moments. Aerandee and Rohan’s wedding in Hyderabad was exactly that—a seamless and breathtaking blend of Sri Lankan and Telugu heritage.
The celebrations kicked off with an intimate home Mehndi, filled with bright marigold decor, traditional singing, and laughter echoing through the halls. The bride wore a stunning bright yellow lehenga, accessorized with fresh floral jewelry, radiating joy.
The Grand Haldi & Sangeet
The Haldi ceremony was a riot of colors, followed by a high-energy Sangeet night where both families showcased their best dance moves. The stage was set ablaze with performances bridging Bollywood hits with upbeat Sri Lankan baila beats, ensuring no guest left the dance floor.
A Heritage Palace Wedding
For the main wedding ceremony, the couple chose the iconic Taj Falaknuma Palace. The venue’s grand architecture, paired with lush floral mandap setups overlooking the city, provided a surreal backdrop. Aerandee looked absolutely regal in a traditional red Kanjeevaram silk saree, paying homage to Rohan’s Telugu roots, while Rohan donned a classic ivory sherwani.
From the heart-touching rituals that beautifully interwove their respective traditions to the grand reception under a canopy of fairy lights, every moment of this union was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. It truly was a celebration of two souls, two families, and two beautiful cultures uniting as one.
